Day 33. The Royal Gorge Bridge〜ロイヤルゴージブリッジ〜

コロラド観光日記最終日の今日は、
マミーがとっても怖い思いをしたロイヤルゴージ吊橋です。
この吊り橋、世界で１番高く、谷底まで３２１M。。。
This is the last day of my diary about my family's trip to Colorado. Today, I wanna show you... Royal Gorge Bridge, where mommy was really scared! Because this bridge is the world highest suspension bridge!

おぉ。。
それは。。。
それは。。。

高い所大嫌いなマミーにとって世界一恐ろしい場所なのです。

Awwww... Well.... Mommy hates high places, so it was a really scary place to her ahahaha.

ところでどうして高い所が怖いのに行ったのかって？
だってせっかくコロラドに行ったんだから、有名な所は全部回るぞ〜！
って。。。
無謀やね。
マミー。
それじゃ写真です。
アーカンソー川が流れる谷底へはこの変な形の乗り物で降りて行きます。
降りて行く最中、マミーはずっと怖い怖いと連呼してたって。
あはは〜。
But why did she want to go to such a place if she's scared of heights? The reason she went there is she just wanted to see some popular places in Colorado... Awww... She shouldn't have gone then lol.

Anyway, here are pictures of Royal Gorge.  There is a ride to go down to the bottom of the gorge. While they were going down, mommy kept saying 'This is scary! Oh my God! This is scary!' many times ahaha.

 赤と青の乗り物があって、どうせ怖い思いをするなら大好きな赤に乗りたい！
って思ってたらしいんですが、結局来たのは青〜あははははは〜！
アーカンソー川はこんな感じです。
There were two incline trains (red and blue). She wanted to take the red one, but the blue one came first aha! This is the Arkansas river. You can a get boat ride, too.

 上の写真は電車の乗り場でもあるんですよ〜。
谷底には川に沿ってロイヤルゴージ鉄道が走っているんです。
マミー達は列車を見れなかったので、列車の写真はインターネットから借りました。
By the way, there is a Royal Gorge Route Railway down here. My family couldn't see the train, so I borrowed this picture from the internet.

列車の真ん中にはオープンデッキがあって、直に景色をみれるんだそうです。
なんかかっこいいね？
下から見上げたロイヤルゴージはこんな感じ。
In the middle of the incline train, there was an open space, so you could feel the wind and see all around :) Isn't it cool? Here is the bridge from below the gorge. It looks so far away.

さて上に戻ると今度は西部劇の鑑賞に行きました。
After they went back to the top of the gorge, they went to watch a western show.

マミーは劇のおじさんに呼ばれて、劇に突然参加する事になりました。
あはははは〜。
おじさんが鉄砲とか持ってたから、にぃには本当に心配して、
僕のマミーだから撃たないで〜〜〜って言ってたそうです。
One of the actors asked mommy to join the show, so she did :)) The actors had guns, so my brother was really worried about mommy aha!

西部劇が終わってから小さな動物園の様になってるところへ行き
After the show, they went to the little zoo.

ブラブラしてからとうとう橋を渡る事になりました。
Then finally they went to the bridge to across the gorge.

谷底を流れるアーカンソー川が遠い。。。
上からはコロラド州が一望できるんだって。
でもやっぱり。。。
怖いよね？
吊り橋って揺れるんです。
普通にしてても揺れるのに、なんと車まで通っちゃうそうです。
Look at the Arkansas River... It's so far away... You can see a beautiful view of Colorado from the bridge! But it looks.... scary, doesn't it?

この車が通る時が１番揺れに揺れて怖かったんだって。
しかも足下は隙間が開いてて、そこから谷底が見えたんだって。
怖かった〜って言ってたよ〜。
Mommy said the most scary moment was when cars crossed the bridge. They really shook the bridge. And when she looked down, there was big cracks between the boards on the bridge, so it made her scary too. 

 橋の途中ではこんな冗談の看板もありました。
There was a joke like this aha :D

マミーは渡りきれた事がすごいって自分を褒めてました。
あはははは〜〜〜！
Mommy was proud of herself that she could overcome her fear of heights and cross the bridge hehehehehe :P

それじゃ〜コロラド旅行記はこれでおしまい！
いつか僕も行って僕も楽しむぞ〜〜〜！！！
Okay guys, that's it about the Colorado trip! I will go to Colorado someday and have fun like my family!
