Day 18. Honu〜ホヌ〜

今日は家の近くのお寺、パロロ本願寺で盆踊り祭りでした。
僕も連れて行ってもらったんだよ〜♪
最初はドンドン大きな音がなって怖かったけど、だんだんなれてきて、
マミーとにぃにが踊ってる間僕ぐっすり眠ったよ〜。
ダディは僕と一緒に座って盆踊りを見てたよ♪
ハワイってアメリカだけど、沢山の文化が混じっててすごい楽しいよ〜！
Tonight, we went to Bon Dance Festival at Palolo Hongwanji which is near our house :)
My family took me with them :)
I was kinda scared of the taiko drums' sound at the first, but I got used to it, so I took a nap while mommy and brother and his hula sis were dancing :) Daddy stayed with me to watch Bon Dance :)
Hawaii is part of America but is a multicultural island, so everyone can have fun :D

それより今日は僕が住んでるオアフ島について。
オアフ島にはいっぱい野生の動物がいてるんだよ〜♪
もしハワイでビーチに行った事あったら、きっと何かの動物を見た事あるだろうね〜♪
例えば、ウミガメとか、オットセイとか、イルカとか、もっともっと沢山の動物達！
今日はマミーが大好きな動物のひとつでもある、
ホヌさんのビデオをみんなに見てもらうね♪
そうそう、ホヌってハワイ語でウミガメって言う意味なんだよ。
彼らってすっごいかっこいいよね〜！
そう思わない？？？
みんながビデオを楽しんでくれたらいいな♪

I will show you about Bon Dance tomorrow :)
Anyway, today, I wanna show you about Oahu. We have a lot of wild animals! If you go to beaches, you would probably see some sea turtles, Hawaiian monk seals, dolphins, or lots more kinds of animals! Here is one of mommy's favorite animals' videos. It's a honu!
Honu means sea turtle in Hawaiian. They are so cool, aren't they?
