Day 83. Soto Mission of Hawaii〜曹洞ミッション〜

今日はマミーのお友達のところへ行ったよ〜〜〜！
I went to visit mommy's friend today!
Tada~~~!!!

お友達の旦那様はこのお寺のプリーストなんだって〜。
プリーストって。。。日本語で和尚さんかなぁ？
僕よくわからないんだ〜あはは〜。
仏教について何も知らないにぃにに、
りょうけいプリーストが英語で詳しく教えてくれたんだよ。
日本語が読めないにぃにの為に英語の仏教の本も貰ったよ〜。
ありがとうございます！
The friend's husband is a priest at this temple.  I dunno how to say 'priest' in Japanese... Maybe 'Oshosan'? Anyway, friend's husband, Ryokei the priest, explained really clearly in English to my brother and daddy about Buddhism. He even gave a Buddhist book in English for my brother because he can't read Japanese! Thank you so much!!!

にぃにがお話を聞いてる間、僕はこんな事こんな感じだったよ。
By the way, when they were talking about Buddhism, I was like this...

 知らない人いたけど、匂いはこないだ行ったパロロ本願寺と同じ匂いがしたよ〜。
マミーのお友達のお家にも僕とよく似た猫ちゃんがいるんだって〜。
でもみ〜ちゃんはアイライナーをひいてるような顔してて、きりりと美形なんだよ〜。
み〜ちゃんは恐がりだから僕とは会えなかったんだ〜。
僕一緒に遊びたかったな。。。
There were some strangers and a dog over there, but it smelled like Palolo Hongwanji :) Oh! Mommy's friend has a male kitten too! His name is Mii-chan. He looks like he puts eye make up on :) He is a handsome kitten :D I thought I could play with him, but he was pretty skittish, so we didn't meet today. I wanted to play with him... Maybe ;)

とってもいいお寺だからみんなも近くに来た時はよってみてね！
和太鼓、盆踊りの練習や、座禅もやってるんだよ〜！
あ！
後ね、さんしん！
沖縄のさんしんのレッスンもやってるよ〜。
プリーストもとってもいい人達なので行ってみてね♪
It was a really nice temple, so if you come around Nu'uanu, please visit this temple :D They have Bon dance, Taiko drums, Sanshin (Okinawan music instrument) lessons, and Zazen too ;) The priest was really nice, so please visit them and learn something about Buddhism :D

マミーはフリフリチキンを貰ってとっても嬉しそうだったよ〜。
Anyway... Mommy was super happy to get some hulihuli chicken ahaha :D

お昼ご飯はもちろんチキン！

良い匂いだったけど、味付けしてるからって僕にはくれなかったの。。。

だけどマミーはしっかりササミを湯がいてくれたんだよ〜。

Of course our lunch was hulihuli chicken ;) It smelled really good!!! But they used seasoning on the chicken so I couldn't eat it... But mommy boiled plain chicken for me :D

夜はフリフリチキンが入っていた袋で運動会！

ヤドカリみたいになってたよ。

And I'm doing an obstacle course race now. Mommy said I look like a hermit crab :O

ところで、マミー。

僕をどんくさ王子って呼ぶのやめてね。

僕はどんくさくなんかないんだも〜〜〜ん！！！

（マミー：いえいえ。とってもどんくさいです。どんくさ王子様。）

By the way mommy... Don't call me Prince Clumsy! I'm not clumsy!!!

(Mommy: Well... Yes you are pretty pretty clumsy, Prince Clumsy.)
